What this policy covers
This policy explains how Toolsera handles information when you browse the site, use its online tools, make privacy choices, or contact us. It also describes the separate roles of services used for hosting, analytics, and advertising.
Tool inputs and local processing
Toolsera tools are designed to process JSON, text, JWTs, images, PDFs, and calculator values in your browser where the individual tool states that processing is local. Toolsera does not intentionally include raw tool inputs, generated output, file contents, file names, decoded token claims, or calculator values in its custom analytics events. Review each tool's description before using sensitive information.
Information stored on your device
Toolsera uses browser local storage for your theme preference, recent tool paths, and the privacy choice recorded by the Toolsera banner. The current keys are toolsera-theme, toolsera.recentTools, and toolsera-consent. These entries remain until they are changed or cleared through Toolsera or your browser settings.
Hosting and technical requests
Toolsera is delivered through hosting and content-delivery infrastructure. When your browser requests a page or asset, the hosting provider may process technical information such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, referrer, and browser user-agent for delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and security. Retention and handling by the provider follow its own settings and policies.
Analytics
When Google Analytics is configured in production and analytics storage is allowed, Toolsera measures page views and controlled interactions such as navigation, category filters, and tool workflow milestones. Custom events use internal paths, controlled identifiers, actions, and counts rather than raw search phrases or tool content. If analytics storage is denied, Google Consent Mode keeps that storage denied; Google may still receive limited consent-state or cookieless measurement signals where supported.
Advertising, cookies, and identifiers
Toolsera uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and participating advertising providers may process IP addresses, device or browser information, ad interactions, cookies, web beacons, or similar identifiers to deliver, limit, secure, and measure ads. If advertising personalization is allowed, those signals may also be used to select personalized ads. If it is not allowed, Google may serve limited or non-personalized advertising where available and permitted.
Privacy choices and Consent Mode
Optional analytics storage defaults to denied until you allow analytics through Toolsera's Privacy choices panel. That selection is saved in local storage and can be changed from the footer. Toolsera's panel does not grant advertising personalization. Where Google or applicable law requires advertising consent, Google's certified regional message handles the required advertising choices and consent signals separately.
Google advertising controls
You can review or change Google ad-personalization controls in My Ad Center. Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services on its partner-sites information page. Browser settings may also let you block or remove cookies and site storage, although doing so can reset Toolsera preferences.
Service providers
Toolsera currently relies on Google services for configured analytics and advertising and on Netlify for hosting and content delivery. These providers process information under their own terms, settings, and privacy notices. Review the Google Privacy Policy and Netlify Privacy Statement for details about their practices.
Data retention
Local preferences remain on your device until you change or clear them. Toolsera does not maintain an application account or a database of raw tool inputs. Analytics and hosting information, if collected, is retained according to the configured settings and policies of the relevant provider. Messages sent to Toolsera may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and to withdraw consent for future processing. These rights can have exceptions. Use Privacy choices for Toolsera consent signals, use provider controls for provider-held data, or contact us about a request relating to information controlled by Toolsera.
Children’s privacy
Toolsera is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to Toolsera, contact us so the concern can be reviewed.
Security and responsible use
Toolsera uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect the service, but no browser, network, or online service can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid using confidential or regulated information on shared or untrusted devices, and review generated files or output before relying on them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Toolsera's tools, providers, advertising setup, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected in the published policy before or when they take effect, as appropriate.
